भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ द्वारा उपोष्ण फलों के उत्पादन, फसल सुरक्षा एवं तुड़ाई उपरांत प्रबंधन पर प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन

भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ ने दिनांक 08-10 मार्च, 2021 के दौरान कृषि-विस्तार अधिकारी हेतु उपोष्ण फलों के उत्पादन, संरक्षण एवं तुड़ाई उपरांत प्रबंधन पर तीन दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम में बिहार के समस्तीपुर, बक्सर, मुजफ्फरपुर, भोजपुरी, नालंदा एवं पटना के कुल 14 अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम के आरम्भ में, डॉ. शैलेन्द्र राजन, निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ ने पुराने आम के बागों का जीर्णोद्धार तकनीक, सघन बागवानी की अवधारणा एवं फलों की फसलों की उपयुक्त किस्मों, आदि पहलुओं के बारे में रेखांकित किया, जो कि कृषि समुदायों की आय को बढ़ाने में मदद करेंगे। उन्होंने बिहार में संस्थान द्वारा विकसित केले की बीमारी के प्रबंधन एवं आम, अमरूद, बेल जैसे फलों की फसलों को लोकप्रिय बनाने पर जोर दिया। प्रशिक्षण के दौरान प्रशिक्षुओं को अच्छे बागों की स्थापना, फलों के बागों का जीर्णोद्धार, उत्पादन तकनीक, बेल और जामुन की महत्वपूर्ण किस्में एवं इसकी खेती के तरीके, जैविक फल उत्पादन, आम और अमरूद में जल एवं पोषक तत्व का प्रबंधन, आम की सघन बागवानी, छत्र प्रबंधन, आम और अमरुद के महत्वपूर्ण कीट एवं उनके एकीकृत प्रबंधन, फलों के प्रसंस्करण एवं मूल्य संवर्धन, फलों के परिपक्वता की पहचान, तुड़ाई उपरान्त प्रबंधन आदि के बारे में वैज्ञानिक संकायों द्वारा ज्ञान देने के साथ-साथ व्यावहारिक भ्रमण भी कराया गया। अधिकारियों का यह प्रशिक्षण बिहार कृषि प्रबंधन एवं विस्तार प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (बमेती) द्वारा प्रायोजित किया गया था। डॉ. नरेश बाबू, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक एवं श्री अरविन्द कुमार, स.मु.त.अ. द्वारा कार्यक्रम का समन्वय किया गया।

ICAR-CISH, Lucknow organized three days training programme on production, plant protection and post harvest management of subtropical fruit crops during March 08-10, 2021 for the Horticulture Extension Officers. Fourteen officers from Bihar including Samastipur, Buxar, Muzaffarpur, Bhojpuri, Nalanda and Patna were participated in training. At the outset of programme, Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH underlined about the importance of rejuvenation technology of old mango orchards, concept of high density plantation and suitable varieties of fruit crops, etc aspects that will help in perk up the income of farming communities. He also stressed about the management of banana disease and popularizing of important varieties of fruit crops namely mango, guava, bael developed by the institute in Bihar. During the training lectures pertaining to establishment of good orchards, rejuvenation of fruit crops, production technology, important varieties of bael and jamun and its cultivation method, organic fruit production, water and nutrient management of mango and guava, high density planting of mango, canopy management, important insect pest and diseases of mango and guava and their integrated management, processing and value addition of fruit crops, identification of maturity of fruits crops, post harvest methods etc. were given by the scientific faculties of the institute along with field visits. This training was sponsored by Bihar Agriculture Management and Extension Training Institute (BAMETI). Dr. Naresh Babu, Principal Scientist and Sri Arvind Kumar, ACTO coordinated the programme.
